Anxiety is the feeling we get when worry about the uncertainty of the future.  There is a direct relationship between anxiety and what we fear. We will work on the anxiety produced by your automatic negative thoughts and how to fight them. We will change your pattern of thinking of the worst-case scenarios. We will also address the possibility of negative things happening compared to what is probable. Often anxiety is part of minds projecting what is going to happen in the future. We will explore ways to stay in the present moment,  a place where anxiety is less.  With anxiety many experience physical symptoms such as heart palpitations, fast heart rate, sweating and feeling tired. Also, physical activity, a healthy diet, regular sleep and relaxation through meditation may also help.  Many with anxiety may get relief through the drug class benzodiazepines such as Xanax, Valium, Ativan, or Klonopin.
